There’s FINALLY some good weather news

Happy days if you have Valentines/Galentines plans.

Cathy Donohue

Just when we were about to give up hope.

Honestly, there’s been a deluge of rain in Dublin this weekend. It has not stopped over the last two days but thankfully, that’s all about to change.

Having been caught in a number of heavy showers lately, I’m only delighted with this news.

Today is set to be dry (yay) with some sunny spells and thankfully, those bright, dry intervals will continue for the next few days.

Not only that, temperatures will increase considerably, seven to ten degrees tomorrow, and the sharp, biting cold of the last few weeks should subside.

Of course, this is Ireland, so there’s always a risk of “scattered rain” although the south of the country can look forward to mainly mild conditions.

Thankfully, this good, or at the very least, improved weather is set to continue for most of the week although it may be “unsettled” over the weekend.

We’ll take what we can get…
