Another change for Facebook.
Yep, I know, at this stage it’s getting somewhat ridiculous. If it’s not broken, DON’T fix it, unless you’re Facebook of course.
First it was tracking people who don’t even have Facebook, last week the decision to include previous personal info (employment history for example), on your profile was announced and now it’s all about video commenting.

Facebook is now allowing users to comment on posts using video, instead of just your basic text.
To be fair, emoji language is usually sufficient when tagging friends in posts but hey if Facebook want to give us yet another way to communicate, who are we to argue?!
There’s no denying that video on Facebook is massive and often, videos perform better than posts themselves.
At the moment, video in comment posting is available to some iOS and Android users but everyone on a desktop can access it and it will be rolled out across the board in the coming days.
All you have to do is click on the camera icon in the comment section and add your videos.

Although previously, you could include videos from YouTube but the difference is now you can upload videos taken directly from your phone.
According to our JOE.ie bros, the new feature was created at Facebook’s 50th Hackathon by engineer Bob Balwin who said: “we wanted to enable more engaging and immersive conversations.”
Now that it’s an option, it will be interesting to see how many people use it.
Is it a good idea or is it simply too much?
