From Lindsay Lohan to Hilary Duff, it seems we’re not the only ones looking to Tinder to bag ourselves a date.
The online dating app has now decided to help lovelorn interests who could be easily duped by introducing verified accounts.
Tinder has now unveiled its latest security measure to prevent impersonators from trying to catfish daters.
Similar to Twitter and Facebook, the app will add a small blue checkmark in the corner of the celebrity’s profile photo so users know it’s a verified account.
While we’re not sure how many celebrities might actually use their smartphone to arrange a date, the latest move might prevent some future catfish moments.
