Corrie will be welcoming a new face in 2015 it has been reported this week as it was revealed that Last of the Summer Wine actress Juliette Kaplan is set to join the cast.
The actress revealed that she will join the long-running soap for at least eight episodes in the New Year playing the role of Beth Tinker’s grandmother, Agnes.
“THEN it got better when I was asked to audition for CORONATION STREET!!!” she wrote on her blog. “I got the part – YAY YAY YAY!!!!!!” (sic)
Juliette will appear on the show in January (Pic: BBC).
She then added, “I got 4 episodes which then turned into 7 and last week I got another script so I’m doing 8 in total – so far…..
“So, on January 5th I make my debut in Corrie as AGNES, Beth’s grandma (sic).”
She continued by asking fans to “keep your fingers crossed” that she gets written into the show regularly.
Agnes will arrive on set just before Beth and Kirk get married – it should be good!
