Someone is sitting on a winning ticket and doesn’t know it.
It’s never nice realising that you don’t have the winning Lotto numbers, but it would so be so much worse if you actually had picked the winning numbers and just didn’t realise.
That’s about to happen for someone in Dublin. A winning ticket, worth €1million, was sold in Nutgrove Shopping Centre in November and under Lotto rules it’s about to expire.
Standard procedure for any wins with the Lotto means that you have 90 days to claim your prize and in this circumstance, since the ticket was sold on November 9th, 2015, it will run out tomorrow.
The number drawn were 9, 10, 11, 15, 17 and 20 with a bonus number of 16.
If by some miracle someone realises they have the winning ticket they have until 5:30pm on Friday 5th February to claim the prize.
