Despite the fact that it wasn’t a huge success, all of the judges/coaches considered not returning and the winner of the first series hasn’t really been seen since it ended, The Voice UK is returning with its original line-up.
Speaking to the BBC, who produces the show, Tom Jones said: “I’m really looking forward to seeing and working with Jessie, Will and Danny on the second series of The Voice.
“I’ve heard there will be some important changes that will make what is already a good, strong show even better.” Nice save their Tom!

The four judges proved they work well and can perform together.
Chart-topper and the only girl on a red chair, Jessie J was also enthusiastic about the return of the programme: “I’m so happy to be back as one of the original four for series two. It’s going to be even bigger and better this time and I can’t wait. Bring it on.”
The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue echoed her sentiments: “I can’t wait to start the search again for the hottest vocal talent in the UK… Tom, Will, and Jessie… Bring it on guys!!”
In keeping with everybody else’s over-the-top eagerness, serial Tweeter will.i.am kept it short and sweet: “This season is gonna be doper than last year! [sic].”

Leanne Mitchell, who was mentored by Tom Jones, won the first series.
But it won’t all be the same. A slump in the ratings when the live shows began during the first series has seemingly forced the BBC to re-think the format. Apparently a number of changes, which as yet are being kept under wraps, will be introduced.
Ooh, maybe the red chairs will be blue? Or perhaps the battles will be called sing-offs? The mind just boggles!
