The Beautiful Cervix project is a community of ladies that want the rest of the world to know all about their cervix, as they celebrate the “beauty and intricacies of women’s bodies and fertility”.
The aim is to encourage women to, “learn cervical self-exam and fertility awareness as a revolutionary path of promoting respect, confidence, and health.”
In a bid to raise awareness about what goes on down below the site offers an, “Empowering Self-Exam Kit”, in three different sizes:
- Small: Narrowest bills (about 3/4 inch wide)
- Medium: Slightly wider bills (about 1 inch wide), for women who have given birth or are comfortable with penetrative intercourse
- Long: Same width as Medium; for women whose cervix is normally deep (hard to reach with a finger)
