The Rain Can’t Be All That Bad, It Gave Us These!

It's not pleasant to walk in and it often ruins your plans (and your outfit) but the rain also brought us some of the most iconic film scenes of all time.

Rebecca McKnight

We’re not defening the horrible weather outside but the rain can’t be all bad if it brought us these incredible cinematic moments…

The Notebook

It’s the scene everyone remembers because it’s when Allie and Noah realise they still love each other. Also, what it leads to is something every woman has thought about with Ryan Gosling.

Spider-Man

So it doesn’t start off too well but it ends with one of the most memorable film kisses of the last decade. It’s probably best not to try to recreate it at home though.

The Shawshank Redemption

The moment when Andy Dufresne is free is made that more unforgettable with the rain coming down. Just pretend to be him the next time you come out of work and it’s pouring down… although we’d avoid the stripping bit!

Pride and Prejudice

This intense exchange between Elizabeth and Mr Darcy in the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice might not go to plan but it is significant in their turbulent and passionate love story. This scene never gets old.

Singin’ in the Rain

We’re not saying you should go dancing about on the streets, swinging your umbrella around and jumping in puddles because you’ll probably hurt yourself or get arrested. But we are saying that this rain scene can put a smile on anybody’s face even when it’s miserable outside.
