So it seems there’s one question you and your partner should ask each other on a weekly basis.
According to Dr James Cordova, professor of psychology and director of the Center for Couples and Family Research at Clark University, checking in with your partner on a regular basis is very important.
Simply asking if they’re okay can make a huge difference to how loved and looked after they feel, according to Cordova.
Drs. Kathlyn and Gay Hendricks, a married couple, who both work as scientists have come up with a very specific question.

Communications is key
They believe asking “”How are we doing working together as a partnership?” is very important.
This helps them see how they’re “working together as a team for our children, working together toward financial goals, or being together so we both have a great sexual experience”.
Dr Cordova notes that checking in with your other half to see how they’re doing stops communication problems before they even happen.
