Research from the University of Wisconsin for CareerCast.com rated 200 different jobs according to factors including travel, deadlines, physical demands, industry outlook and risk to life and found that along with firefighters, commercial airline pilots and PR executives have the most stressful jobs.

Firefighters were found to have the most stressful civilian job due to the personal danger they face every day.
The organisation also ranked what jobs were the least stressful and University Professor came out on top. Seamstress or tailor, jeweller, dietician and hair stylist also made the cut.
