Yesterday, it was revealed that the new iPhone 6s will launch on September 25 and it’s going to have some very exciting updates.
The new model will come in a rose gold colour in addition to the current gold, silver and space grey models.
One of the most hyped features for the new model is the introduction of 3D touch technology.
“Peek” will allow users to press down on icons allowing for shortcuts. For example, pressing on the camera will mean you’re automatically ready to take a selfie.
We’re also liking the idea of “Pop” which will enable users to look at videos and photos without having them take over the entire screen.

Another cool feature is “Live Photos” so waves will ripple and people will smile thanks to the new 3D touch animation.
Apple has said these aren’t photos but videos and they’re created by taking 1.5 seconds worth of images on either side of the photo you’re taking.
Then when you press on the picture, these images play and there you have it, a moving photo, or better still a gif on your phone.

There’s no news as of yet on the price of the phones but going by previous instances, they won’t be cheap.
