A photo of a cafe in Mytilene, on the Greek island of Lesbos, has gained a lot of attention for a great reason.
The picture shows a group of dogs curled up napping on some seating inside the cafe, called Hot Spot.
According to Greek blog Zoosos; the management open up the premises in the evenings to offer refuge to the many homeless dogs that would alternatively be roaming the streets.
Greece has a massive amount of stray dogs, approaching a staggering one million animals, according to BBC News.
Due to the debt crisis, many people can no longer afford to keep their pets and abandonment is widely increasing.
It’s lovely to see people looking after defenceless animals with a simple good deed.
