The final book of Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games trilogy will be spilt in two for the big screen.
The last installment will be divided between two movies; The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.
Lionsgate announced that the films will premiere in November 2014 and 2015 respectively.
We’re not sure that an extra film will do the series justice and can’t help but think that Lionsgate is considering the money rather than the films. Hollywood did it with Twilight and Harry Potter to get those last few millions out of their fans.
We loved the trilogy though and we can’t wait for the next installment, Catching Fire, which premieres in 2013.
