The Drawing Hope Project is a project initiated by artist Shawn Van Daele, bringing the dreams of ill children to life.
Shawn has a vision to use his ‘talents and abilities to do something that people everywhere could find hope and inspiration in.’
Children submit pictures which Shawn then turns into ‘real-life’ photographs and the results are pretty amazing.

Not only is Shawn making sick children happy, but he also plans to raise funds for various treatments by making books of the images.
This is such a beautiful idea and the pictures certainly stirred a few tears here in the Her.ie office.
