The competition is well and truly heating up this weekend as we head into yet another action-packed weekend of ladies football.

The main focus of Division 1 on Friday night was the clash between Cork and Galway. Cork got back to winning ways with a 1-14 to 3-7 win after an absolutely thrilling encounter.

Meanwhile in the other games, which will kick off on Sunday, Monaghan, who caused a major upset last weekend when they overcame League favourites Cork by a point, will line out against Laois.

Elsewhere in Division 1, Kerry will take on Dublin in while Mayo will take on Tyrone in what is set to be a close and competitive encounter.

On to Division 2, both Donegal and Cavan will be hoping to continue their winning ways when they line out against Kildare and Down respectively. Near neighbours Meath and Westmeath will go head-to-head while Armagh will face off to Clare.

In Division 3, Roscommon face Sligo, Longford take on Leitrim, Wexford will welcome Fermanagh to Wexford Park while Tipperary are at home to Waterford.

Finally in Division 4, another interesting weekend of fixtures lies ahead with Wicklow taking on Offaly, Derry taking on Antrim while Louth will face off to Limerick.
