Okay so Twitter was down for a lot of people today but in between technical errors, there were bursts of humour.
Last night a hashtag started circulating. It originated from this tweet and simply asked women to describe what they wanted in 5 words. Obviously, a bunch of people jumped on to make gender-based assumptions and throw shade. Others used it as an opportunity to express their desire for handbags, shoes and chocolate, while most saw it as a chance to express their desire for an equal society.
The real triumph of the hashtag was a number of men that jumped on board and nailed it.
