Have you been having Christian Bale withdrawal symptoms since watching The Dark Knight? Yes? Well we have some good news for you ladies, as Christian is back with a new film although this time he won’t be saving the world and donning a bat suit (boo!).
According to reports, the Welsh actor is back on board for director David O Russell’s new upcoming drama film.
Christian had been linked to the project earlier this year, but these speculations were promptly followed by rumours that he had quit and subsequently dropped out of it.
However, according to entertainment industry website The Wrap, Christian is now set to take up a role in the project which is currently untitled but was formerly called American Bullsh*t.

Christian gained popularity for his role as ‘Batman’ in the Christopher Nolan trilogy.
The film itself is a political drama which follows a financial conman (played by Bale) and his girlfriend (Amy Adams) who are caught by a federal agent (Bradley Cooper).
“David has put together an incredible ensemble of actor of actors for what is going to be a powerful and emotional drama about one of the most memorable cast of characters in recent history,” said Charles Roven, a spokesman for Atlas Entertainment.
So a stellar cast, some eye-candy in the form of Bale and Cooper and an interesting plot? We’re looking forward to hearing more about this project!
