The 20 cheapest pints in the world have been revealed and now we want to book flights.
If you drink pints, or even go to a pub with someone who does, you may have noticed that the prices vary significantly between pubs and also between the counties in Ireland.
In Dublin for instance, you would need well over a tenner for two pints, while down the country you would get change from that tenner. And that’s not to mention the variation in types of beer/ale/stout. Some lagers like Peroni or an IPA could set you back over €6 in some places and the same one could cost you €5 elsewhere.
Guinness also differs in price throughout the country and can cost you anywhere from €4 to €5 depending where you get it.
We know the price depends on overheads/rents of the pubs but it seems Ireland is well above the average, if the list of the 20 cheapest around the world is anything to go by.
Here is the list as compiled by GoEuro for their annual Beer Price Index. Our friends over in JOE shared this earlier and it’s just making us want to book a flight and go sample some cheap booze.
All in moderation, of course.
