A teenager and her family have shared a video on Facebook to highlight the dangers and effects of drugs.
Sixteen-year-old Amy Thomson from Glasgow is now in a wheelchair after taking one capsule of crystal MDMA.

The drug has had a major impact on her body and brain, however her family see the clip as a sign of hope considering that Amy spent weeks in a coma on life support.
Speaking about it on Facebook, her aunt said: “This video likely shocked some people, but it’s not sad.
“Yes, she’s in a wheelchair at the moment and her speech is impaired, but she will keep improving. I’ve no doubt she’ll lead a full and happy life.”

Amy was rushed to hospital after collapsing at a party back in June. In the video she says: “Thank you everyone. Thanks for your support everyone.”
