Most of us would probably need a drink or two in us in order to appear on a tell-all reality television programme like Tallafornia, but according to the show’s Nikita Murray, she can get up to the same crazy shenanigans without touching a bit of alcohol.
The Tallafornia crew returned to Dublin yesterday after six long weeks of filming the second series of the show in the Spanish resort of Santa Ponsa. But Nikita, who caused absolute mayhem in the first series, said that this time around she wanted to prove to young people that they don’t need alcohol in order to have a good time. Fair play.
“I came out here to prove a point,” said Nikita, speaking to the Irish Daily Star.
“We are seen as role models now because we have so many fans. So you get to see me having the craic with people drinking and me sober. I just want to show them you don’t need to be pissed to have a good time,” she said.
Nikita caused a bit of a stir in the first series when she was filmed pretty much on top of her co-star Phil while wearing her underwear, and when she removed her bra while she was drunk.

Despite these mortifying moments, Nikita has said she has no regrets about her on-screen antics.
“I’d rather be hated for who I am than be loved for who I’m not and feel no shame for what happened the last time,” she said.
“My personality is naturally bubbly and outgoing – you will see me hitting the dance floor, and taking shots and cocktails, but non-alcoholic ones, so you will still see me having the craic,” she added.
