Take that cyber bullies!
This sweet video shows how one Iowa teenager decided to take small steps towards making the Internet a nicer place to be.
Jeremiah Anthony, a student at West High in Eastern Iowa, created a Twitter account, @WestHighBros, solely to compliment his fellow students.
Speaking about the project, Jeremiah said; “So many people on Twitter and Facebook, they get cyber-bullied because they’re less than perfect, and no one is perfect, so we try to have as sincere compliments as possible”.
We’d love to see the trend take off worldwide, how pleasant it would be to log in to your computer each day to be greeted by at least one ‘You’re Great’ message, alongside all the work stuff…
However it’s important to note that Irish people are notoriously bad at accepting compliments, so you might want to start small. ‘You make a mighty cup of tea’ is always nice to hear. Try it out.
