Here at the Her Towers, our love for Christmas is parallel to the love we have for chocolate and cute animals, oh, and our brothers over at JOE.ie of course, but to hear that a Christmas market has arrived in Dublin city already is positively crackers. See what we did there?!
The merry folks in Brown Thomas are preparing their wish-list in plenty of time for Santa’s arrival it seems, as this week the Irish store launched its Christmas market.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, Edel Woods from Brown Thomas explained that 2014 is no different from any other year and the launch is all down to “customer demand”.
“We always open at this time of year. It’s always the middle of August – I think it’s two or three days earlier than last year – and it’s really down to customer demand,” Woods said.
Adding: “We tend to sell out by the middle of November, or even earlier.”
We’re still dusting off sandy towels, we can’t think of Christmas for at least another two months. *Gulps mulled wine*
