Starbucks Introduce New Holiday Drink for the First Time in Five Years

We can't wait for the red cups to make an appearance.

Team Her is divided on how we feel about coffee but those of us who love it, really LOVE it.

We’re also quite partial to Christmas and the arrival of holiday festive drinks means the big event is well and truly on the way.

Larger coffee chains usually release festive drinks in time for Christmas and while some are repeated each year, Starbucks have a new option this year.

The Chestnut Praline Latte, an espresso mixed with steamed milk, caramelised chestnuts, spices and praline crumbs, will join old favourites such as the Peppermint Mocha and the Gingerbread Latte.

The new drink marks the “arrival of the first new holiday handcrafted beverage in five years” and it’s set to launch in America on November 12.

The bad news this drink won’t be available here but we will be getting a Honey and Almond Hot Chocolate.

Think of a Starbucks hot chocolate combined with almond syrup, chocolate whip and a little mocha on top… YUM.

It’s shortly launching in the UK and Starbucks Ireland have confirmed it will make its way over to our shores soon. We might have to try it, just to see what all the fuss is about…
