Soiled nappies are being sent to government ministers according to reports. The packages have been intercepted by security staff at Leinster House.
According to BBC, the packages are being intercepted by security scanners and are dumped, rather than opened and passed on to the ministers themselves.
The practice began about a fortnight ago, according to the Irish Independent, but apparently on one day alone, 10 nappies arrived.

Leinster House are unsure why the nappies are being sent on, although it may indicate some sort of protest in connection with the abortion legislation.
There is also no clue as to whether this is a group sending on the nappies or if it is just one individual.
“It’s not a problem. We’re not getting too bothered by it. The system filters it out,” a Leinster House source said.
We would be a little bothered…
