Kat Slater is to discover she is pregnant in a major Christmas storyline for popular soap Eastenders.
Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon(Shane Ritchie) are to discover they are expecting a baby after only recently reconciling following eleven months apart.
The child will be the first for the couple, although Alfie has helped Kat to bring up Tommy, Kat’s son with Alfie’s cousin Michael Moon.

On-off couple Kat and Alfie had a romantic reunion after Alfie fled his wedding to Roxie Mitchell so he could stop Kat leaving the country.
Other Christmas storylines include Carol Jackson (Lindsey Coulson) kissing her former flame David Wicks (Michael French) and a breast cancer storyline for Carol.
