What a chancer!
A woman in New York was arrested after driving a car with a homemade cardboard license plate.
Erie County police pulled over the 28-year-old after they realised she had a fake license plate on the vehicle she was driving.
They released a statement on their Facebook Page which said that a member of their department, “observed a vehicle with no front license plate and a rear license plate that was obviously an imitation New York license plate.
“The fake license plate was constructed of cardboard and painted to replicate a New York plate.”

In case you are wondering, homemade cardboard license plates are NOT legal.
