SERIOUSLY.
Living in Ireland, you get accustomed to cold weather but in all fairness, it’s the last week of April and we’re sitting on top of the radiator hugging mugs of tea.
Today is absolutely freezing, a dramatic change from the sunny weather of the last week, and now we have an explanation for it.
Our JOE bros came across the below graph, tweeted by meteorologist Joanna Donnelly, and we have a “cold air pool across Europe” to thank for today’s zero temperatures.
Cold air pool right across Europe. Coldest day today. Only marginal improvement next few days. #weather @MetEireann pic.twitter.com/T02Uq7rJmy

While you would hope that things would improve in the next couple of days, it doesn’t look too likely with only a “marginal improvement” expected.
According to Met Éireann, tomorrow and Friday are likely to be blustery and cool “with outbreaks of showery rain”.
Great craic altogether.
