Anyone with a pet knows just how important a family member they really are, and how much they mean.
The Dobbie sisters who are from Australia, had grown up with their Jack Russell Tigger for 16 years but when he became sick they paid tribute to him in a really lovely way.
Louise Dobbie told ABCNews: “My sisters and I were gathered around sharing our memories and photos of Tigger when he was a pup while we were waiting for the vet to come to our house to put him to rest. We came across this photo, which we probably haven’t seen in a good seven-plus years, and my sister, Samantha, suggested we re-create the photo.”
She posted the picture on Reddit where it received thousands of likes and comments from people touched by their story.
“He loved people and it’s very ironic that the story of Tigger has now touched the hearts of people he never even met,” Dobbie said. “My family and I believe this is his way of saying that he’s okay and for us to smile at his memory.”
