It’s Tuesday and if you’re lucky enough to nab the remote from your other half tonight you’re braver women than us as the dreaded soccer Tuesdays are back! If we manage to nab the telly here’s what we’ll be watching.
Reality Bites: Gay Dads – RTÉ Two (21:30 – 22:30)
This edition of Reality Bites features journalist Darren Kennedy as he researches the difficulties gay men face when trying to start a family. Darren explores surrogacy, adoption and fostering and confronts the harsh realities of gay parenting in 2012.
The Great British Bake Off – BBC 2 (20:00 – 21:00)
The competition continues and the contestants are required to produce a number of sponge-based dishes before they have to recreate one of Mary Berry’s difficult recipes. The bakers come to terms with baking strudel before one of them is forced to leave the competition.

Billy is determined to not give up on the cleaning business despite everything going wrong. Things between Sharon and Jack heat up as they decide to go on a date.
The Holiday – ITV2 (22:00 – 00:45)
Two single women, one from Britain and one from America agree to swap houses during Christmas. The women find romance in each other’s homes but difficult decisions have to be made. Starring Jude Law, Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet.
