Simon Cowell spent $500,000 to rent a fancy hotel for X Factor USA hopefuls.
The music mogul upgraded the singers from ‘normal’ accommodation to a lavish hotel to reward them for making it so far in the competition.
According to TMZ, Cowell treated the contestants to a stay in the exclusive Mondrian Miami South Beach Hotel and offered to pay for their meals before insisting they lap up the luxury.
X Factor USA is currently filming the boot camp scenes where the judges narrow down a huge number of singers to a few finalists.
