If you thought sex was all about the orgasm than you might be wrong according to the sexual philosophy Karezza, which is becoming extremely popular with couples around the world.
The term Karezza was first coined by Dr. Alice Stockham in 1896 and the philosophy suggests that sex without orgasm can strengthen your relationship, encourage intimacy, cure sexual dysfunction and reawaken sexual desire.
Really?
Karezza places a focus on affection rather than climax and according to The Huffington Post this means no oral sex, not foreplay, no porn and no big-O.
Men, in particular, have taken to this orgasm-less canoodling more than us women, which we find absolutely staggering.
Counselor Deb Feintech, told ABC News that the technique can be used to repair broken and damaged relationships.
“The people most interested are men. It’s very radical for them, but they are finding the emotional intimacy far outweighs any of the thrill of the chase and the mating mind.
“They wake up every single morning and they are not even thinking about genital stimulation. They are snuggling, holding and breathing with eye contact and flow. It’s very conscious – from the genitals to the heart,” she said.
