“You can not think about body image and your body feelings inside this body if you are not fit,” sexologist Alessandra Graziottin explained to us, adding that she recommends one hour of brisk walking every day.
Dress it up
And we mean for you, not him. Get on your sexiest underwear, your favourite dress and heels and be sure you feel like a million dollars. Your confidence in how you look will shine through. Take that confidence into the bedroom and take control of the action, and we promise, it will lead to absolutely mind-blowing sex.
Alessandra also recommended wearing something every day to make you feel that bit special.
“Wear something that makes you feel charming – it might be a piece of jewellery, a pair of earrings, a scarf, something that makes you feel that bit special and charming no matter what you are doing.”
Food glorious food
While there are a number of foods which are said to have aphrodisiac qualities, foods that should be cut out for a brilliant sex life include junk food, breads and carbohydrates.
Get some shut eye
A major part of having the desire and indeed energy to have sex is getting enough sleep every night. Catch up with your sleep by getting to bed that bit earlier every night for a week – you’ll be surprised how much more energy you’ll have. Seven hours per night is usually recommended.
Romance
For couples that have been together for a number of years, it is recommended that they keep one evening a week for romance. This could include going out for dinner and dancing, and with the firm rule that stress, work and finances are not to be talked about on the evening.
DIY
Remember, you shouldn’t complain that your partner can’t bring you to orgasm if you’re not confident in doing it yourself first. If you know your own body, you’ll be able to explain it to your partner.
Take it slow
