Their much-awaited-for album is not out until next month, but The Script say it has been leaked on the internet already.

Their third album, ‘#3’, has been leaked onto the worldwide web with snippets on hundreds of different websites at this stage for people to listen.

But the million-selling, talented trio say they accept the inevitable and will build it into their business model.

Singer Danny O’Donoghue said he has already seen snippets of their music on the internet.

“It’s already leaked,” the ‘Breakeven’ singer said.

“It’s already leaked. I’ve seen it in snippets. We’re living in a day and age where some people who download, don’t buy music so you just have to build it into your business model.

“For instance, we go to places like Johannesburg and Cape Town, where we don’t have massive record sales but we can sell out a 16,000-seater stadium, and they knew the words to all our songs. Well, they must be getting them from somewhere!” Danny said yesterday in Dublin.

The band has also got a recent publicity boost with their lead singer’s role as a judge and mentor in BBC’s ‘The Voice’, where he was also linked to Voice contestant Bo Bruce after his split with girlfriend of four years, Irma Mali.

“I’ve been put through the ringer. It is one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life. But the split happened about a month before the show started. We were just two people who weren’t meant to be together. You grow apart, not due to not liking or loving one another.

“It just happens sometimes, and it happens to everybody.”

The singer is now single and denies any relationship with Bo Bruce.

The band’s new record has already a public hearing as their first single, the anthemic ‘Hall Of Fame’, features repeatedly in TV coverage of the London Olympic Games. The track is a collaboration with Danny’s Voice counterpart, will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.
