Schoolchild’s Letter To Justin Bieber Correcting His Grammar In ‘Boyfriend’ Has Gone Viral

What a legend!

Laura Holland

A young schoolchild has written an open letter to Justin Bieber correcting his grammar and it’s going viral.

His teacher, Louise Williams, uploaded the letter to Facebook to prove a point to her class about how far content can travel on the internet.

He cleverly corrects Justin’s grammatical error in his 2012 hit Boyfriend, with regard to his use of ‘was’ instead of ‘were’ in the lyrics, ‘If I was your boyfriend’.

While posting the picture Louise said, “Please like/share this letter written by a pupil from my year 5/6 class, in South West Cornwall. They want to see how far it will travel and whether we can get a response!”

Based on the information given, he is around 10 or 11 years old.

It’s pretty impressive how he’s putting Justin Bieber in his place when it comes to grammar.

We await Mr Bieber’s response.
