The former Pussycat Dolls singer was recently named as the fourth permanent judge on the ITV1 show but now it seems bosses may have already changed their minds about the singer.
Our suspicions were confirmed when bosses admitted they are already thinking about replacing her for next year’s series, with Mel B emerging as the favourite choice to take her place.
Producers are said to be concerned as ratings for this year are down on last year’s and have decided to plan a huge shake-up. This means there will be no guest judges and the launch date will be pushed back to September.
A source told The Sun; “It maybe airs a little early and people struggle when they might be on holiday or enjoying the sunshine at home.
“And the guest judges just don’t work. It’s great for audiences who are watching live but it doesn’t translate well on the telly. People get confused as the line-up’s always changing from song to song.”

Former Spice Girls singer Mel has impressed viewers with her honest opinions when she was a guest judge during the audition stages but it was Nicole who was given the permanent judging role alongside Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos.
And in a further blow to the controversial show, Dire Straits legend Mark Knopfler has said he will never let the programme use any of his music.
He said: “I get requests from shows like this wanting to use my music, but I refuse every time.
“I don’t want anything to do with such an inhuman process.”
