It has been revealed that Sam Claflin will play Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire.
Claflin was rumoured to be one of the many actors in the running for the part but now it has been confirmed according to E! News and others.
The 26 year old actor has previously starred alongside Johnny Depp in Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Kristen Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman.

It was also reported that he beat the likes of Taylor Kitsch (Battleship) and Garrett Hedlund (Four Brothers) to the role.
His character Finnick appears not just in Catching Fire but also in the Mockinjay finale which will be broken into two films.
Garrett Hedlund was another Hollywood hottie linked to the part.
