A young woman who posted a complaint on Facebook after her meal was ruined by another customer having a heart attack, has sparked outrage.
The hairdresser from Indiana took to the social media site to hit out at staff of Kilroy’s Bar N’ Grill in Indianapolis, after they told her “someone dying was more important then (sic) us.”
The young woman complained that staff were unhelpful when she had a problem with her bill, and noted that she was subjected to having to watch a “dead person being wheeled out from an overdose.”
However, what she was unaware of was that the person was actually a 57-year-old woman who had suffered a bad heart attack while out for a New Year’s Eve meal with her husband and son.
The lady had to be laid out on the floor of the bar and worked on by paramedics, and thankfully survived the attack.
However, manager of the bar, Chris Burton, was quick to clear up the confusion on Facebook, with a response that has received thousands of positive comments from around the world.
In his rebuttle, he labelled the woman’s complaint “disgusting”.
Since the posts have attracted so much attention online, the salon at which the young woman works has been forced to speak out.
In a social media post about the incident, they assured customers that the woman’s views in no way reflected their own.
