Airline giants Ryanair have announced that they will be expanding their current operations with the creation of new jobs.
Bosses at Ryanair have announced that the airline will be creating nine new routes from Dublin Airport. This will also create 300 new jobs and support 700 additional onsite positions.
According to RTE, the new routes will service Almeria, Bari, Basel, Bucharest, Chania, Comiso, Lisbon, Marrakesh and Prague. The new routes will start in April 2014.

The airline have announced that the new routes will deliver an additional 700,000 passengers every year.
RTE also confirmed that the jobs will be spread between Shannon and Dublin and will include cabin crew, pilots, engineers, customer service, sales and IT.
CEO Michael O’Leary claims that the job creation was a result of the scrapping of the €3 travel tax.
He also claimed that the new staff will assist: “significant improvements to the Ryanair.com website and to our industry leading customer service.”
