If you’re planning a stag or hen party with a difference (and a sizeable bank balance), this might be news for you…
Ryanair has decided to expand its business offering, and has today announced it will be launching a corporate jet service.
The 60-passenger jet will offer reclining seats and fine dining – which we assume means you won’t have to worry about fishing out that €2 for a cup of tea at take-off.
A spokesman for the budget airline, headed up by Michael O’Leary, said a Boeing 737-700 jet can be hired by the hour, with “competitive” rates depending on the arrival and departure airports.
The private plane will cost roughly €40,000, or €660 per head return trip.
Just slightly more expensive than the average €50 fare.
Confirming the news, Ryanair said the jet would be “ideal for private corporate, sports team or group travel”.
Operating for up to six-hours at a time, the only question is, where to?
