Ryan Tubridy revealed that he was extremely nervous before presenting The Rose of Tralee competition.
The broadcaster presented the competition in 2003 and 2004 but said that he was a nervous wreck.
However, Tubridy said that he would present The Rose of Tralee very differently if he was to do it again because he reckoned that he was “a bit wet behind the ears.”

According to The Irish Sun, The Late Late Show presenter said: “It was a bizarre but brilliant experience. It was terrifying.
“If I was to do it again I would do it very differently because I was so nervous.”
Tubridy is currently dating a former Rose of Tralee, Aoibhinn Ni Shuilleabhain.
The lanky broadcaster wished his colleague Daithi O’Se the best of luck as he returns to the dome to present the second night of the competition.

The Rose of Tralee continues tonight on RTE1 at 8pm.
