Are you ready to Spice Up Your Life, one final time?
The rumours had been swirling for months, but now there is photographic proof that The Spice Girls WILL reform for the closing ceremony to London 2012.
The opening ceremony to this year’s Olympic Games was watched by over 900 million viewers worldwide, and featured performances from The Arctic Monkeys, Dizzee Rascal, Emeli Sandé and Sir Paul Mc Cartney.
The closing ceremony will take place this Sunday evening, and artists set to perform alongside Victoria, Mel C, Mel B, Emma and Geri include Jessie J, Brian May, Tinie Tempah and George Michael.
Whether or not the girls would reform for the spectacle had been thrown into doubt by reports that Victoria felt any reunion would hamper her credentials in the fashion industry. Indeed, she was said to have felt ‘emotionally blackmailed’ by the other four.
Still, it appears now as though all differences have been put aside for the occasion. Despite high security on the grounds, one onlooker managed to nab this cheeky snap of the five rehearsing.
