Beyoncé dropped a musical bomb on Thursday as she announced a ‘surprise’ for fans, and launched a new album on iTunes.

The self titled, visual album, the first of its kind, has almost 1 million downloads to date. With 14 songs and 17 videos the record has received rave reviews.

American stand-up comedian and actress, Chelsea Peretti, had an epic response to one of Queen Bey’s most talked about tracks.

‘Pretty Hurts’ shows Beyoncé as a beauty pageant contestant giving an insight into how brutal life can be for a beauty queen.

The 35-year-old Brooklyn Nine-Nine actress tweeted just three words, which it has to be said, hit the nail on the head.

Lyrics of the song include: “Pretty hurts, shine the light on whatever’s worse, Perfection is a disease of a nation… Trying to fix something but you can’t fix what you can’t see, It’s the soul that needs the surgery.”

A 30-second preview of the clip uploaded to Beyoncé’s YouTube account had already racked up over 2.35 million views since Thursday.

Beyoncé is so pretty it hurts the rest of us, we hear you Chelsea, we hear you.
