Relationship worries are something that all of us have. We worry about how much we fight with our partner, we worry about how much sex we have and we worry about how well we communicate with our other half. We also worry about how ‘normal’ we are as a couple.
Being a ‘normal’ couple offers some firm reassurance that your relationship is on the right track and that, despite the fact that you bicker non-stop, you’re just like everyone else. In a weird way, being ‘normal’ is comforting.
So how do you judge how ‘normal’ your relationship is? Thankfully, three of America’s top sociologists joined forces and wrote a book which outlines the things that make a relationship ‘normal’ and healthy.
The sociologists surveyed over 100,000 people around the world about their relationships from their behaviour within a relationship to how happy they were. From the results of the survey, the sociologists were able to determin the ten main things that make you a ‘normal’ couple.
