Poor Louis, he always gets the short straw…
The ‘X-Factor’ judge has said he is “happy-ish” with the talent category he’s been given this year.
The music mogul, who is rumoured to have been given the groups again, was tight-lipped when he was asked.
“I always make the most out of my category, I’m happy with my category, I’m happy-ish,” the Mayo man told the Irish Daily Star.
He also refused to say which category was the strongest this year, saying; “I don’t know who is going to win. There’s talent in every category. It’s up to the public, they decide a winner.”
Louis previously claimed that producers had promised him a good category this year after some noticeable unfair decisions in the past.
The former Boyzone and Westlife manager has always been given either the groups or the older singers, only been given the boys’ category in the second series when he won with Shayne Ward.
Louis’s on-show rival, Tulisa, is rumoured to have the girls’ category this year. The star also remained tight-lipped about the mentoring situation but said; “I’d love the girls but we’ve seen so much home-grown talent this year with urban acts, rappers and soul singers.”
Nicole Scherzinger is the 7/4 favourite to win with her category, said to be the boys, and Tulisa is second favourite at 2/1 with her group, the girls.
The odds on Gary Barlow to win are at 5/2 with the overs category and Louis, our poor Louis, is the least favourite at 5/1 with the groups.
