At Her.ie we’re big fans of Nicki Minaj, even more so because she’s absolutely bonkers.
So, we’re not at all surprised that tickets to see her in action in Dublin were in high demand. But… there are plenty big names playing Ireland this year who have yet to sell-out venues, (the never-ending radio ads for some female artists are proving that!), so it’s still a marker of just how popular an artist is when their ticket sales don’t see out a single day.
That’s the case right now for snoozing Nicki fans, her November gig in Dublin’s O2 only went on sale this morning, and the ‘Starships’ singer has already confirmed that the concert is sold out on her Twitter account.
The O2 gig was scheduled to appease fans after her original Irish date was set for the Olympia, which only has a capacity of 1300. That date will still go ahead, on August 21st, but now many more of Nicki’s fans will be able to join in the fun on November 5th.
