Celtic were crowned Scottish Cup champions yesterday but the real news was when they made their way around the stadium for their lap of honour, someone spotted this banner that was draped over the advertising boards.
Although the banner read “Achill Island C.S.C”, many thought that it read “Achill Islam C.S.C.” The news was quickly picked up and considered by many to be “anti-British”, the banner was even criticized by the English Defence League.
Besides the fact that the entire affair reads like a script starting point for Father Ted, there have also been some pretty funny responses.
