The majority of us had one prized possession when we were kids that simply had to accompany us everywhere we went. Some had a favourite blanket, others had a doll and the rest had a beloved teddy.
Phoebe Simpson accidentally left her lion teddy ‘Roar’ on a train in London on Friday and thanks to passenger Lauren Bishop Vranch the bear fell into safe hands.
Lauren, along with the unstoppable power of social media, returned the lion to its rightful owner, not before taking him on one amazing expedition.

Lauren documented the epic adventure on her Twitter account, keeping everyone up to date with the lost bear’s whereabouts.

Facebook page Spotted: On The Train posted this image to help the cause.

“Little bear has found a cosy pub with a fire and a Christmas tree. Think he misses home tho.”

“Sad #lostbear Not out of the (metaphorical) woods yet. Someone must know him.”

“#lostbear‘s journey back to London. Lost property awaits.”

“Little bear has found a nice hotel to stay in. Tho the more I look at him, the more he looks like a dog.”

“#lostbear‘s morning walk on the quayside. Beautiful day.”

“#lostbear looking out at the Newcastle morning, ready for the journey back”

“Bear has found his way backstage at Northern Stage Newcastle. He’s going to see some panto. Lucky bear.”
“Waiting for the show to start #lostbear”

“#lostbear watching Strictly. Not yet indicated which way he’s voting.”

Lauren’s work here is done.
