It’s supposed to be one of the best days of your life – but if you invite Singapore blogger Juli “Bun Bun” to your wedding, you might just regret it.
If you’ve just suffered through wedding season, you’ll know that people definitely have their own idea of taste and elegance.
Sometimes, you stand in awe at the beauty of a ceremony… sometimes you need to keep your mouth shut.
As the old saying goes, “If you’ve nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all”.
One blogger failed to take this advice on board, and instead decided to critique her way through an entire wedding service.
Juli opens her blog post writing:
Next on Juli’s hit list was the bridal car… which she decided was not up to the standard she expected to see as a wedding guest:
At least she wouldn’t be cruel about the bride though, right? It’s her special day. A moment in time… and apparently the perfect opportunity to pull her fashion taste apart:
In hindsight, Juli admitted that she didn’t think that couple had bowed out of making an effort. Instead, she simply implied they were cheap…
Understandably (and possibly after her husband discovered her secret activity that day), Juli decided to remove the rant from her blog, explaining:
“On second [thought] I have decided to take down this post, just in case. I don’t want people taking my words out of context.”
We’re not sure there are too many ways you could take those words in fairness.
She just didn’t want to offend anyone.
