A Manchester restaurant is gaining new popularity and praise, thanks to a Facebook message supporting a member of staff.
Mike Jennings currently runs Grenache Restaurant in Manchester. Needing an extra pair of hands, Jennings hired Andy Foster as a server.
According to Mashable, Andy took the job to support his mother, who he cares for since she developed Alzheimer’s.
Jennings hired Andy knowing he has autism, realising that Andy is talented, skilled and great at his job.
He’s also a complete professional.
So when customers started being disrespectful and rude to their staff member, general manager Mike decided to post his feelings on the matter to Facebook:
Thoughts on an incident which occurred last night….Totally unacceptable.Strongly worded but we need to get our point across.#equalopportunities

It seems a lot of people agreed with his tough stance, with more than 9,000 likes on the post.
Thanking the public for their response, the Grenache Restaurant posted again late last night, writing:
