A Royal Norwegian navy officer has taken Instagram by storm after posting dozens of photos of himself. 

Lasse Matberg, 30, has amassed over 100k followers on his Instagram account after posting various pictures of himself in different situations.

Some focus on his physique while others give an insight into the activities he enjoys, including chilling out on Venice Beach and chopping some wood.

His Instagram fans are going crazy for his good looks and long blonde hair, comparing him to a ‘modern day viking’.

One person commented, “I can’t even make my hair look that good in a bun!” while another said, “he looks like the beast from beauty and the beast … When beast becomes human”.

Other people have compared him to Thor.
